The songs on this album are fluid and gentle, yet lively. Vocals are smooth and straightforward, solid guitar work. Bass and drums that leads the charge with bold changes and driving rhythms. A screamer is utilized more as a reserved instrument more than a means to deliver vocals; they are dark and perfectly placed screams that are thankfully not over done. Definitely keep your eyes peeled for these St. Louis up and comers.
The debut release from the St. Louis kings of rock, A Picturebook Of Saints. This ten song CD reveals the depth of emotion in singer/ lyricist Brad Jokerst's thoughts and actions with a tightly knit a sound, drawing their influences from Small Brown Bike, The Lawrence Arms, Moneen, Cave-In, and their own hardcore roots.
