about

On their debut long-player The Bloodiest Night of my Life (TBNomL) brings into sharp focus their impassioned melange of noisy indie rock, volume-drenched flare ups, and moody post- hardcore; It is consistently and convincingly brutal despite an avowed whimsy. The songs often echo groups like Drive Like Jehu, Sonic Youth, and Man...or Astro-Man?, but each bullet here is very emphatically fired from the same gun... creating an air of malleability in their sound while maintaining a comfortable cohesion. As they tear ferociously through these eleven-and-a-half tracks, TBNomL elicit charm and unmanufactured sincerity from loud, reckless, screamy fun.
